Dr. Sanjeev Gulati is a distinguished nephrologist with extensive experience in managing kidney transplants and pediatric renal diseases. He previously served as Additional Professor of Nephrology at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI), Lucknow, where he played a pivotal role in establishing one of the largest dialysis and transplant programs in India. He has also held the position of Associate Professor in Pediatric Nephrology at McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada, and has gained significant expertise at leading hospitals in the UK, Australia, and Canada.
Dr. Gulati has presented his research at numerous international and national conferences and has published over 130 scientific papers in esteemed journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine, Kidney International, and the American Journal of Kidney Diseases. Additionally, he has authored 20 chapters in renowned textbooks such as the Oxford Textbook of Nephrology and Comprehensive Pediatric Nephrology, and has written a book on childhood renal diseases. His contributions have been recognized with numerous awards from prestigious organizations, including the Indian Council of Medical Research, the Indian Society of Nephrology, the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (UK), the Australian College of Pediatrics, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and the Japanese Society of Nephrology.
Dr. Gulati currently serves as Vice President of the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation and is a member of the governing body of the Indian Society of Nephrology. He also serves as a reviewer for prominent medical journals such as Pediatrics, the American Journal of Kidney Diseases, Pediatric Nephrology, and Indian Pediatrics. In addition to his editorial responsibilities, he has written extensively for newspapers and magazines to raise public awareness about kidney health.
