About “Dr. Hitesh Garg”

Dr. Hitesh Garg is the head of the Ortho-Spine Surgery unit at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon, India. With over 15 years of experience in spine surgery, Dr. Garg has worked at several prestigious institutes globally, including Yale University (USA) and Shriners Hospital for Children, Philadelphia (USA). He graduated from AIIMS, New Delhi, India’s top medical college, and completed his post-graduation at the esteemed KEM Hospital, Mumbai. Despite being offered a faculty position in the USA, Dr. Garg chose to return to India to establish an advanced spine center of international repute.

Dr. Garg has a strong academic interest, with numerous national and international publications and contributions to world-renowned spine surgery textbooks. He has performed over 5,000 spine surgeries, including more than 2,500 spinal fusions (TLIF, ACDF), 1,000 deformity correction procedures (scoliosis and kyphosis), 300 lumbar and cervical artificial disc replacements, 500 fracture treatments, and 500 other complex surgeries such as spinal tumors, congenital defects, and spino-pelvic fixations.

Utilizing the latest cutting-edge technology, including neuromonitoring, O-arm, navigation, modular operation theaters, and microscopy, Dr. Garg achieves a high success rate of nearly 98 percent. He has treated patients from over 50 countries, including the USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and many others. His clientele includes prominent national and international personalities, including army officers, ministers, celebrities, sportspersons, doctors, and businessmen.

Dr. Garg specializes in minimally invasive spine surgeries, motion-preserving spine surgeries, cranio-vertebral and cervical spine surgeries, and deformity correction procedures for scoliosis and kyphosis.
