About “Dr. Gaurav Dixit”
Dr. Gaurav Dixit completed his MBBS and MD in General Medicine from PGIMS Rohtak in 2008. After completing his senior residency in General Medicine, he joined the Department of Clinical Hematology at AIIMS Delhi in 2011, where he developed a keen interest in blood disorders. In 2012, he pursued his DM degree at CMC Vellore, home to one of the best hematology departments in the country, and completed his training in 2015.
Dr. Dixit has extensive experience working in busy transplant centers. He joined Artemis Hospital after spending four years each at Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, and Action Cancer Hospital, where he was instrumental in establishing bone marrow transplant programs. In 2020, he was awarded the professional certificate in multiple myeloma by Mayo Clinic, U.S.A.
Renowned for his clinical acumen and scientific insight, Dr. Dixit stays abreast of the latest developments in hematology and adheres to international guidelines for patient treatment. His expertise in Hemato-Oncology, particularly in leukemia, myeloma, lymphoma, and aplastic anemia, has earned him a distinguished reputation in the field.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Dixit is a valued educator, contributing significantly to the departments he has served. As an active member of various national and international organizations, he is committed to continuous learning and collaboration. Notably, he performed the first successful bone marrow transplant in Kenya in October 2022.
